Notice: Bids are currently being solicited by the City of Tarrant, Alabama (“City”), for janitorial services at the Tarrant Electric Department located at 1700 Pinson Street, Tarrant, AL.
Details of the bid are posted on the homepage of the city’s website: www.cityoftarrant.com. Sealed bids must be received in the City Clerk’s Office by hand at Tarrant City Hall, 1604 Pinson Valley Parkway, Tarrant, AL 35217 or 1133 East Lake Boulevard, Tarrant, AL 35217 or by mail at P.O. Box 170220, Tarrant, AL 35217 no later than the 12th day of February, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Tarrant City Hall Council Chambers. Bids will not be accepted by email or facsimile.

A recommendation of award and a decision on the bids is expected at the City Council meeting scheduled for February 15, 2021, but the City reserves the right to make their decision at a different time if it deems that it is in the best interests of the City. The winning contractor will begin service immediately upon execution of the contract resulting from the award of the bid.
